As always flying in the face of generally accepted conventions we take these in our stride from south to north. Come right up to it, it's a hobby. Actually, all that's nonsense: these are around Lago Llanquihue by Puerto Montt.
Ensenada Rural, small and modest with a fine view of a volcano. The first place where we noticed how much some graves look like beds with a railing.
Puerto Octay
To my surprise (rather misplaced) the cemetery has been set up by one Father Reinders, a missionary from Holland. He's in that little chapel dominating the yard. Only found out when back home...
Los Bajos
Very small place close by the lake, where efforts are underway to change it from a fishing and farming village to a Tourist Attraction. I'm not showing the new boulevard - it's too pathetic. But surely, the crowds will come, eventually.
