After passing through Tulbagh, from Ceres to Piketberg
along the Kouwebokkeveldberg [cold kid field mountain]
where I almost met my dead end, under a bulldozer.
A bok means a billy goat, or deer, in Holland Dutch
in Afrikaans it has come to mean almost any wild horned animal you can eat.
Really wild, remote and far-out: The edge of the Karoo.
We didn't see any bokkies, though - just some baboons.
Started out as a rare, foggy day with great light and cloud effects.
