| I found it! The original of Captain Haddock's castle, named Muizenmeul, Moulinsart, or Molensloot—or whatever. It's in Chéverny, France—one of those famous castles on the Loire. I certainly would hate to be living there during a siege by one of my many enemies. From the defense point of view, you call this a castle? Hergé modestly took off the two outer wings and a lot of decorations which would have been a pain to draw in the first place. He even took the trouble to dig out that tree and move it to the right. | |
